With a hot-forged construction, this design enables the removal of excess weight while reinforcing areas where durability is paramount. The HotForge features a deeper basket for easier clipping, and the flatter hinge-end basket ensures that the webbing of quickdraws stays securely in place. A larger rope-bearing surface enhances the carabiners durability, while the gates flats decrease the chances of accidental gate opening. The updated nose geometry has been optimised for efficient clipping and unclipping from bolts.
